The anticipated and glorious return of light
A penance to the parting of storms,
Welcomed by a gentle sigh, a warm smile
An embrace to chase those cold, tumultuous days
Away into the past, back into the closets of repressed
Memories, traumatic events, broken hearts
Piled behind closed doors, the pressure will build
We will push back against the splintering wood of inhibition
And give support until the beast within will rest so maybe
We can be chased back into the past, to face our fears
And find peace.
